Innovation Studio, Inc is a not-for-profit that strives to make innovation possible for anyone with a dream and drive to become an entrepreneur or business owner. We provide a continuum of resources to entrepreneurs and business owners designed to reduce barriers through early engagement and a connected ecosystem of Innovation Centers. Since 2010, Innovation Studio has managed and operated four innovation centers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and supported over 2,000 entrepreneurs and business owners.
Small Business & Startup Programs: Innovation Studio offers a continuum of programs and services to support the launch and growth of businesses. Through business accelerators, 1-2-1 advising services, and networking opportunities entrepreneurs and business owners gain access to the resources and skills they need to be successful.
Innovation Centers: Innovation Studio operates and manages innovation centers that are designed to inspire creativity and foster collaboration. Each Innovation Center offers flexible workspaces, open public lounges and meeting, conference, and event room rentals.
Innovation Studio supports early-stage entrepreneurs and aspiring small business owners in Massachusetts and Rhode Island through the Inspire, Create, and Share Programs as well as through 1-2-1 expert advisory and Entrepreneurship Navigation.
The Grow program is open to existing small business owners who are based in the United States, but MA and RI businesses are prioritize. Due to funding availability, service offerings and fee structure may vary based on the location of the participant.
The Scale Program is for Pre-Seed to Seed Stage startups. In most cases, U.S. based startups are invited to apply. In some programs, applications may be limited to a region or could expand to accept international applicants. Please see the Scale program page for details

In 2023 Innovation Studio implemented a fee structure for the Inspire, Create, Share and Grow programs. Based on funding availability we are able to offer financial aid to qualifying participants. In some cases, funding enables Innovation Studio to offer free services.While Innovation Studio works to ensure cost does not prohibit anyone from accessing services, our ability to offer discounted or free services is contingent upon philanthropic funding and restricted to Rhode Island and Massachusetts participants. There is a rental fee for usage of a private room or event space at any of our Innovation Centers. A 25% discount may be available for last minute bookings at District Hall Boston and the Roxbury Innovation Center. Learn more. The mark combines a pair of activated forward pointed chevrons, with accent points that create the illusion of an X. X has a history of being used to symbolize an unknown quantity, therefore If X can stand for anything or anybody, then nothing and nobody is excluded by it. Innovation Studio looks to serve as the “Studio” for individuals to iron out a business idea, develop that concept, and execute their plan – in the same way an artist imagines a piece of music, visual art, drama, and then has to develop it through consistent effort and focus.
