Volunteers are the backbone of our programs. They provide valuable insight, training, and guidance to support the development and growth of startups and small businesses.

Volunteer Opportunities

Mentor

Provide 1-2-1 support through a series of sessions with one or more entrepreneurs or small business owners. Our mentors are especially important to the Pitch and SEED Immersion Programs as they are the main resource and program participant guide.

Expert Advisor

Through 1-2-1 meetings, expert advisors provide advice on a specific topic. We look for experts in a range of areas that support the needs of entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Pitch Night Judge

Learning how to tell your story and pitch your business is an essential skill for any entrepreneur. Our Pitch Program is designed to train entrepreneurs through a series of workshops, mentor sessions and a final demo day pitch presentation. Judges play a key role in the final demo day pitch by providing valuable feedback and selecting the event’s winners.

Trainer 

Workshops and Deep Dives offer a group of individuals an opportunity to learn about or hone in on one skill. Our trainers facilitate a 1-2 hour session on a specific topic. In addition to stand alone workshops, trainers are also needed for our LAUNCH! Pre-Accelerator and SEED Immersion Program cohort.

Presenter / Panelist

In addition to programs, Innovation Studio hosts a number of events and conferences. Events and conferences are designed to bring people together and facilitate informal knowledge sharing and collaboration. Each one of our events or conferences highlights a specific industry, business or topic and showcases industry experts who can share their personal story.
